First Baptist Church of Cheyenne

 Welcome to our website!  This is just a small part of what we are doing at First Baptist Church.  For 2012 we are working with three words that will help guide us as we serve the Lord in our assignment here in Cheyenne.

We pray for VISION.  We want the Lord to give us a VISION for what can be done in our church and community.  First Baptist Church of Cheyenne has a great history.  We have stood strong in mission support, Sunday School, youth, children, and music.  VISION will challenge us to accomplish more in 2011 for the Kingdom of God.

Whenever a church family prays for VISION, they must also pray for VOLUNTEERS.  The eyes and ears of a church are guided by VISION; VOLUNTEERS are the hands and feet.  We pray for laborers.  Whenever God calls a church to service, He also provides the workers.  We are praying that God would send more workers and increase our ability to serve Him in 2012.

Vision plus Volunteers always produces VICTORIES.  We consider it such a great privilege to serve the Lord in this place.  We are joyfully looking forward to the VICTORIES the Lord will bring to us.  Lives changed, Christian ministries accomplished and families strengthened will be some of the VICTORIES we will count.  There will be many more VICTORIES.  Most will be small.  But small victories are VICTORIES! Some will be great.  All will bring honor and glory to our Lord.

VISION, VOLUNTEERS, and VICTORIES will help us accomplish our purpose as God’s church in this place. Come join us!
